'World War Z', how a zombie apocalypse movie should be made

A U.N. employee is racing against time and fate, as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly Zombie pandemic.

It is another zombie apocalypse. I know. Somehow, I love this one.

They’re using the basic concept of how zombies attracted to sound, that you should shot right through their head to kill them, etc. But, in my opinion, they emphasize those things more and make it real. Although they didn’t give us the answer of how this ‘Z Virus’ thing started and didn’t find a cure to it, they find another solution to the problem in the story. That is refreshing for a zombie apocalypse story. In “I Am Legend”, Dr. Robert Neville (played by Will Smith) find a cure to the epidemic, in “World War Z”, Gerry Lane (played by Brad Pitt) find a 'camouflage’ with a theory that, for me, is still acceptable.

This reminds me of a question my friend asked to our Biology Teacher in our high school. He asked about using harmful bacteria and virus to human advantages.

Oh, the other thing that made the story seems real is the main character traveled around the world and we could see how another countries except USA were also struggling and in crisis. You know, usually we only see from American people’s perceptive and how the country, once again, save the world.

In the end, this one is sure entertaining. My sister and I couldn’t stop gasping and squeaking and closing our mouth and biting our lips and… Well, I could feel the terror and I am hoping for a sequel.

Another thing to mention is the music. Although I love Marco Beltrami so much since I listened to his work with Buck Sanders in “The Hurt Locker”, I can’t stop myself from noticing that MUSE’s “The 2nd Law: Isolated System” was being used for this movie soundtrack. That alone is freaking brilliant. I love this music so much since I got “The 2nd Law” album and when I heard the melody started to play in the movie, I talked to myself “This is awesome!” The music is complicated and I can feel the desperation that match to the movie. I love it. I love it so much!

Maybe this is the main reason why I love “World War Z”. They put the right song into it.

'World War Z' is directed by Marc Foster, starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos Daniella Kertesz, with music composed by Marco Beltrami.
